The tracks featured on "Vivid Dreams" are songs that I have been developing for some time - the album's title being a reference to how dreams have had an influence on the way I approach my compositions. Through delayed melodies to bright flowing natural harmonics and abstract improvisations, these song-dreams are an exploration into the sounds I've been drawn to ever since I started playing the guitar. Making this album was a process in and of itself, I wanted to capture the songs in their purest forms which resulted in lots of spontaneous recording sessions, my recollection of these seem to glow in a distant haze of fluorescence & mystery. I hope you like it.
